Background Copernicus watches

In 2009 Copernicus watch decided to make dreams come true. It took over one year to prepare the watch project: the Copernicus Atlas models. Copernicus was created out of passion and it refers to the great Polish astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus who was an inspiration for Copernicus watch. As the founders of the company are ambitiously resolved to do something new, to overcome some schemes and set new trends in watches. Not only Copernicus does want to design watches but also they want to tell the story, recall memories, make new associations or even provoke… Each Copernicus watch has got its own history and inspiration. Copernicus aims at connecting the best quality with new design.

Copernicus Atlas watch

Polish watchmaking did not have deep-rooted traditions, nevertheless the 60’s were marked by the production of Polish wrist watches which based on imported soviet movements.

Copernicus watch has decided to go back to this tradition, refers to designs and models appreciated by the customers and nowadays sought by collectors. Copernicus was inspired by the model called “Atlas” which was one of the export brands produced by Zaklady Mechaniczno-Precyzyjne in town Blonie near Warsaw.

Copernicus Flagship watches

Soon the new Copernicus Flagship models will be presented. These new models are high end and do contain a high quality Unitas movement. We expect to present these new Flagship models at December 2011.
