Eone Time watches are, as the founder Hyungsoo Kim says, originated from friendship. Because he had people in his circle of friends with a visual disability, his mission was to design a watch that was suitable for blind people, people with a visual disability and could also be used by people without a visual disability.

To make this ambitious mission a success, he launched his Kickstarter campaign in 2013, achieving 15 times the intended financial goal. A unique concept was born and the first Eone Time watch, the Eone Bradley came on the market. This watch is named after the army officer Brad Snyder who became blind during a mission. Snyder later won several silver and gold medals at the Paralympics as a swimmer.

Hyungsoo Kim thought it was important that people with a visual disability could wear a watch that was stylish, on which they could read the time without being spoken out loud by the watch.
