Damasko is a family-owned company known for its high-quality watches that use a special and incredibly strong steel. Development began 24 years ago with a groundbreaking patent for hardenable stainless steels, culminating in the completion of the first Damasko in-house caliber called the A 35 in 2010, allowing Damasko to climb into the elite circle of true manufacturers. The basic movement with automatic winding was soon joined by the equally ambitious H 35 in-house movement in 2012. The current further developments of these two movements allow for a production depth of up to 90 percent with Damasko in-house watches, which is anything but standard for today's industry. Love for high-quality mechanical watches does not have to be priceless and comes in many different models at Damasko. Because the Damasko DC56 watch has been the official timepiece for the Eurofighter test pilots for more than ten years now and has not shown a single malfunction even under the toughest flight conditions. The Damasko brand has also continuously developed with its challenges thanks to the extreme endurance tests in Manching according to the strict NATO military standard Mil.810. Continuous innovations such as the EPS silicon spring, for example, withstand the tough task of the DC 56 at an altitude of 12,000 meters. Accelerations of up to 9 g, strong temperature fluctuations from -40 degrees to +54 degrees and rapidly changing cabin pressure are normal daily working conditions for the world's best fighter pilots.

Damasko can rightly call itself a manufacture, which is nowadays a rare privilege and a special responsibility. Damasko takes this responsibility even more seriously than is actually necessary. The in-house production of no less than 90 percent - mainly thanks to the two manufacture calibers A 35 and H 35 - already gives Damasko watches a special position among high-end watches. But the fact that they not only contain genuine German craftsmanship, but also completely new material and functional developments, is an innovative vertical integration.

What does this deep production depth of 90% actually mean? Damasko produces watch cases, crowns, push buttons and rotating bezels and all movement components such as gears, blued screws, pins and much more in-house.
